It seems young people these days are not nearly as concerned with body odor as their parents and grandparents. A new survey from YouGov reveals Millennials and Gen Z-ers are ditching deodorant and antiperspirants!
Nearly 40% of 18-24-year-olds said they had not purchased a deodorant or antiperspirant product in the last month. That number was just slightly lower for those in the 25-34 age range, with 31% saying they did not buy those products.
When it comes to older adults, 78% of 35-44-year-olds bought deodorant in the last month and 84% of those 45 and older did the same.
It’s not that Millennials and Gen Z-ers are lacking in personal hygiene as they are more likely to wash their hair every day, but they are more conscious of using natural products and are probably finding alternative ways to prevent B.O.
