Detroit — A court hearing for the 21-year-old Detroit man accused of killing Detroit Police Sgt. Kenneth Steil was adjourned Tuesday because of the suspect’s bad behavior. Marquise Cromer’s arraignment and probable cause hearing have been rescheduled for Wednesday because Cromer was having “some behavioral problems,” said 36th District Court Judge Deborah Langston. Cromer’s attorney, Sanford Schulman, said there is the possibility his client will undergo mental competency and criminal responsibility exams, which could take weeks.
