A Homeland Security official, who blamed Black Americans for turning “major cities into slums because of laziness, drug use and sexual promiscuity,” has resigned.

A political appointee in the Department of Homeland Security abruptly resigned after the disclosure Thursday he previously made derogatory remarks about black people and Muslims on conservative talk radio. Rev. Jamie Johnson, who was appointed the head of the DHS’s Center for Faith-Based & Neighborhood Partnerships in April, appeared on the program in 2008. The comments resurfaced Thursday after CNN published a report about them with audio snippets. #BREAKING: Keystone pipeline reportedly spills 210,000 gallons of tar sands oil in South Dakota.

Crews are working to clean up a pipeline leak that has spilled at least 210,000 gallons of oil in South Dakota. Brian Walsh with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources tells KSFY News they were alerted to the leak at 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning by TransCanada. The leak was in the Keystone Pipeline located in an agricultural area in Marshall County. There have been no reports of the oil entering any waterways or water systems at this time. Walsh said 5,000 barrels of oil have leaked, and at 42 gallons a barrel, that totals 210,000 gallons of oil....

Terry Crews has detailed the alleged sexual assault by Hollywood agent Adam Venit in a new TV interview. The former NFL player opened up about the alleged incident during a Good Morning America interview with Michael Strahan on Wednesday, November 16.
