With her husband, Norman Shy, facing up to seven years in prison for running a $2.7-million kickback scheme at DPS, Carolyn Shy is fighting to protect the couple’s 7,000-square-foot Franklin condo and other assets from being seized. She is claiming a marital stake in various assets — at least 50% — and claims that the government can’t outright take them because she did nothing wrong.
