A Detroit pastor is calling for the termination of the Eastpointe police officers named in a lawsuit that alleges they beat a black man unconscious while in police custody last year.

The Rev. W.J. Rideout III of All God’s People Church said he is also demanding an apology and an explanation from Eastpointe officials about the treatment of Frankie Taylor after he was arrested for drunken driving Aug. 10, 2015
