As Wilton Speight slowly walked into the Michigan news conference Saturday, he had stepped into a new world.

His right (throwing) shoulder had an ACE bandage wrapped, keeping a large ice bag in place, not unusual for a player who had multiple shoulder surgeries.

But his right elbow was wrapped equally tight with a separate bag.

Though he threw fewer passes than against Central Florida a week earlier, his body was barking far more after beating Colorado, 45-28.
